When the box is capped, the deck becomes the Green Spine — a continuous public landscape over the former canal corridor, running unbroken from Castlefield to Leeds.

60.6miles of continuous linear park — 97.5 km, every metre walkable and cyclable.

Scroll east from Manchester to Leeds. The band is the park; the line beneath it is the metro; the dots are its stations. Landscape characters change as the corridor climbs to the Summit pass and drops into the Calder Valley.
